Torsion of a Broken Heart

One day life gets flipped.
Heart torn,
Lost love to mourn,
The carpet from under ripped,
I have earned the entire worlds scorn.

Torn between lost love and crush anew,
My heart is twisted,
Old pain persisted,
Love, pain, sadness, happiness in an emotional stew.
Before, this feeling never existed.

Too sad for tears,
to mad for rage,
a love lost is my hearts cage.
Reappearing old fears,
Led me to re-engage.

Too fast for my mind,
too fast for my heart,
A new love shouldn't start.
My own death warrant was signed,
When my hand I did impart.

My bed was made,
my pillow set,
I never meant to do this yet.
My mistakes will be paid,
Which is the worst threat.

Handicapping above Par Ok, I'm all for equal rights for all human beings and by no means am I one of those people that thinks all with "special needs" shoud be wiped off the face of the earth. Quite the opposite, I actually have a friend and cousin who has special needs and I don't hold it against him at all. There are stipulations however, and The No Child Left Behind program is promoting everyone to be on an equal plane when it comes to the difficulty of school.
Recently in my school the first semester ended. Honor roll was released in the local paper. On High Honors I saw my name along with the names of a couple other very intelligent people Handicapping above Par by ~Jman9083
